Question: Hi .... My LMP is on 16/3/23 ,29 days regular cycle trying for baby for past 6 month
Did follicular study this cycle .. ovulation occur on 13 th day .. started on susten 200 mg OD from 1/4 /2023 for 15 days...now 14 day post ovulation... Did upt today is negative ... How long to take susten ...will it delay periods ... When to repeat upt... I have no symptoms of pregnancy yet ...

Hi,

I understand your concerns about fertility.

Please do serum beta hCG which is earliest to show positive result and UPT shows after another week.
Meanwhile you can stop susten (progesterone) as body secretes enough progesterone to take care of pregnancy. If you are willing to continue susten, continue another week and do Urine pregnancy test before stopping if negative.
As of now serum beta hCG blood test will give more clarity.

I don’t see role of susten any longer. It will delay periods as long as you take though you are not pregnant.
