Question: Hi! I was recently diagnosed with chronic moderate erosive gastritis (with multiple ulcers). I’ve been experiencing lightheadedness but lab results have indicated that I am not anemic. Could the ulcers be causing the lightheadedness or should I see my family doctor for further evaluation? The ppi seems to help the lightheadedness.

Brief Answer:
Need further evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr. R. K and I am pleased to assist you.
Ulcers do not cause light headness unless there is significant bleed causing a drop in blood pressure.
So you need to see your doctor for further evaluation.
Regards,
Dr. R. K
