Question: Hi,
I used to take Claritin for many years for my pollen allergies, but the previous seasan it gave me irregular heartbeat. What can I take instead?

Brief Answer:
You should take fexofenadine or levicetrizine.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Instead of Claritin (loratidine) you should take either of these drugs.
1. Fexofenadine (120mg) once daily
2. Levocetrizine (5mg) once a day.
These are not having side effects of irregular heart beats.
So you can take either of them with out fear of irregular heart beats.
