Hi, I Tend To Be A Nervous Person And Have

Question: Hi, I tend to be a nervous person and have been reading online about esophageal cancer. I've basically convinced myself I have it. My recent symptoms are chest pain that radiates through to my back, nausea and pretty serious fatigue. I have a history of GERD, eosinophilic esophagitis and mild gastritis (once). It's also been suggested to me that I could possibly have peptic ulcer disease as earlier this year I had pain in my upper right quadrant (no gallbladder). I am a 35 year old female, normal weight, moderate drinker, non-smoker. I had an endoscopy with biopsy in November of 2018 that came back normal. Is it possible that this could be cancer and how quickly does esophageal cancer progress? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Esophageal cancer unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
It is unlikely that you have esophageal cancer for the following reasons -
1. You do not have any symptoms suggestive of esophageal cancer
2. Endoscopy done as late as November 2018 was normal. There was not even lesions present that can lead to cancer.
