Brief Answer:
treatment is dependent on clinical severity and assessment parameters

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your query, and also seen your lab report.

You have been recently detected with Covid 19 positive report. The latest treatment protocol is dependent on clinical severity and assessment parameters such as presence or absence of symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, malaise, and headache; and the percentage of oxygen saturation at room air (SpO2), respiratory rate, presence or absence of respiratory distress. And also, presence or absence of septic shock.

All these factors need to be taken into consideration before starting the relevant treatment protocol for a patient with Covid positive report.

I kindly suggest you to let me know a bit more about your clinical symptoms, if any as mentioned above. Also, let me know about your SpO2 level at room air (if you are aware of it), your respiratory rate, basal body temperature reading. I would be able to guide you better if these details are provided.

On a broader view, the treatment used are symptomatic management for fever and cough. Taking fluids regularly to maintain hydration. Patients may perform warm water gargles or take steam inhalation multiple times a day. Monitor temperature and oxygen saturation 2 to 4 times per day.

Drug treatment include -

Tablet Paracetamol for fever
Tablet Ivermectin
Inhalational Budesonide (if required)
Systemic oral steroids (not indicated in mild disease)
Oxygen Support
Investigational Therapies

Thank you for asking this question. Wishing you speedy recovery.

Dr Shanthi E
