Question: Hi, I have having a bought of diarrhea with blood in it. 1st time ever and just happened about 3 hours ago. Recommendation?

You have mentioned that you had a bout of diarrhea, by diarrhea do you mean you had more than 3 episodes of loose stools in a day and in one of the episodes you noticed blood in the stools?
Do you have any pain in the anus after passing motion or during passing motion?
Do you have any nausea or vomiting or pain abdomen?
How frequent are the stools?
Since how many days have you been having these loose stools?
Fresh blood in stools is either due to a ruptured hemorrhoid, fissure in ano or due to a tumor in the rectum.
Per rectal exam and proctoscopy needs to be done to find out the cause of bleeding.
You do need to consult your proctologist or general surgeon and get yourself examined.
It could also be due to infection in the lower intestines, which should be treated with a course of appropriate antibiotics.
Drink adequate amounts of water.
Do visit your doctor and get examined.

The diarrhea just started to (about 3PM PDT). I been on the can 4 times with pretty bad cramps and each one had a lot of red. I was very nauseous yesterday with pain in my stomach. Nauseousness & Pain in my stomach has subsided, but still have cramps.

If the bleeding is from higher up, like from stomach or duodenum, the blood is broken down due to the action of acid from the stomach and becomes brownish or chocolate colored giving the stools also similar chocolate color.
If the blood is red, it means it is from large intestine or rectum and anal canal.
If there is no pain in the rectum or anal canal, that means it is unlikely to be due to a fissure.
That leaves us with infective diarrhea (ulcers can develop in the colon due to infection and these can bleed), hemorrhoids, or tumor in the colon or rectum.
Please do get investigated to find out the exact cause.
