Hi, I Have A History Of Anxiety And I Wasn’t

Question: Hi, I have a history of anxiety and I wasn’t sure if the symptoms I’ve been having are consistent with anxiety.
After long car drives it feels like I have been on an elevator and that I am still in motion; I get dizzy and disorientated and off balance.

This feeling occurs even when I haven’t driven. Sometimes it feels as though I get acute attacks where my left hand partially locks up and my legs go stiff; my body becomes all rigid and I have to grab onto something because I feel like I am going to fall. My whole body locks up and my left hand always clenches and legs go stiff and painful.

I don’t know if this is perhaps a reaction to my lamictal or Ritalin or if it is something more sinister. The leg sensation and feeling like I am floating and off balance is very disturbing and I feel like it is something more sinister and I am going to fall over. Can you please help me. I know the set of symptoms sound silly but I am so stressed.

Yes, I am taking diazepam and it seems it does occur after taking this sometimes. It feels like I am rigid sometimes. I do get back pain and stiffness but don’t know whether that is anxiety or overuse? It feels like I am sauntering instead of walking

Sorry for late reply as I was busy.
Honestly speaking, newer anxiety medicines are available.
In my opinion, you should definitely try them.
Combination of Propranolol and flunarizin is having good outcomes in terms of symptoms control.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks. Again sorry for late reply.
