Hi. I Had Balanitis . I Was Treated With Anti-fungal

Question: Hi. I had balanitis. I was treated with anti-fungal cream. The first time I did a 10-day treatment. After two weeks, the problem returned. I had another cream for ten days. However, he came back again. I just completed the 4th treatment. Unlike the other times, I do not feel conceived nor is there mucus scaling. Four days ago, I finished the treatment. But I still feel a slight burning. The mucosa is also slightly reddish at some points. Sometimes it gets slightly dry too. Could I use Bepanthen to moisturize and diminish slightly red stains. I do not think I should use more corticosteroids. Not good for mucus. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Need more information.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome to ask a doctor service.

I have gone through your query. If you provide more information then it will be more helpful to understand about your problem and to help you.
Do you had any unprotected risky sexual intercourse?
Are you diabetic?
what all anti fungal agents you used already?
If you provide the picture of the affected area then it will be more helpful.
I would suggest a swab test taken from urethral meatus. Culture and sensitivity also should be done.
I would suggest taking antibiotic doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for 7 days.
I would also suggest using aloe vera cream for local application.

Please update with the asked information. I am happy to help you anytime.
Thanks.

Hi.

Thank you for the answer.

I’m not diabetic. There is no diabetic in my family.
I had only uprotected oral sex in 3th august ( no intercourse). I don’t have any sexual relation since august. I did not have any sexual disease in my life. My urologist sad to me (in clinical exam) that I did not have sexual disease. First, I had only clotrimazole for nine days (creme). The symptoms have desappeared. After one week, some have returned: soft burn, dry skin and two red spots. So, I had clotrimazole+dexamethasone acetate for nine days (creme). After one week, the same symptoms have returned. I have repeated the same treatment for nine days. After ond week or two, they have returned. In the last treatment, I had ketoconazole+dipropionate+neomycin sulfate for 7 days. I have stopped the treatment on last monday. Since yesterday, I have only dry skin and soft burn (appears and fades away). In the beginning of my problem, I thougt that I had genital psoriasis. I have inverted psoriasis since I had 14 years old. I use to use clobetasol propionate 0,5mg/g (ointment). So, I use this for 5 days without results. In that time, I had a psioriasis crisis.

Thank you
Robert

Brief Answer:
Didnt get the pictures still.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again

Thank you for your follow up.

I didn't get the pictures still. In such case I would suggest taking oral fluconazole 150 mg weekly once for 4 weeks along with miconazole and flucinolone ointment for local application. Doxycycline should be taken for 1 week to be on safe side also.
Avoid using soaps and irritants on genital area. Instead you can use warm water or saline.

Let me know if you have any follow up.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Pictures looks like eczema and fordyce spots.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up.

I have gone through your pictures. Now it looks like eczema and fordyce spots externally.
Avoid washing with soaps and irritants as I advised you before. Applying ointment containing miconazole and flucinolone will be helpful. Oral doxycycline and fluconazole also should be taken as I mentioned.

Let me know if you have any further queries.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
