Hi, I Am Currently Scheduled To Fly From Los Angeles

Question: Hi,

I am currently scheduled to fly from Los Angeles to XXXXXXX

3 weeks ago I had a zygomatic fracture on my right arche / compressed fracture that impacted 4 locations on my face.

Have been healing well but I am concerned with flying and air pressure.

My surgeon said that i need the bones to heal delicately and not be moved to avoid an intrusive surgery.

My surgeons office cleared me for flying but I’m not convinced.

Can anyone share advice or insight?

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry, you can fly

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for the query.

Well, changes in air pressure can effect hollow structures like sinuses.

As zygomatic bone is not a hollow structures and as you are healing well, you need not to worry.

You can fly.

Hope I have answered your query..

Thanks.
