Hi I Am A 63 Year Old White Female With
Question: Hi I am a 63 year old white female with fibroids that have been Ultasound and everything came back benign. In October of 2018 I underwent lung cancer surgery for a adenocarcinoma which was caught at stage 1a. It was removed and I have been cancer free since October 2018. I started progesterone and estrogen because my energy level was low and today I woke up with specs of blood in the toilet and on the toilet paper. Do you think it is from the hormones?

Mild bleeding that you are having can be due to the hormonal pills that you are taking. This can also happen due to vaginal atrophy caused by low levels of estrogen after menopause. Usually such mild bleeding stops on its own. In case a bleeding is persistent it is best to consult your gynecologist for an examination and PAP smear and an ultrasound scan if necessary.
