Question: Hi Dr, I recently had some lab work done on my kidneys from my family Dr. MyeGFR was 48 when 2 years ago it was 60. My creatinine was 1.2 and my bun was 18.I don’t know why it dropped by 12 points. Is this something to worry about?

Yes i think you were just dehydrated at that time.

yes i think you were just dehydrated at the time of the examination that's why there was an increase in your serum creatinine.
i suggest you get hydrated the following days and then repeat the blood exam and if it is still elevated for some reason then you might need to see a nephrologist to get a nuclear renal scan to accurately measure your kidney function.
