Question: Hi Doctor, I have been suffering from Urticaria for past 1 month which happened 1st time in my life. I was prescribed steroid like zempred 16mg and techzine then later changed to montelukast and balastine. Then finally into Allegra and Atarax. I did test as well and got IgE as 634. I am worried since it is high. Though it's better now from what I was going through a month back. I still have it and now a days it's pricking and burning, so I m worried if it's getting worsen. I have attached report and please help me what should I do now as IgE is high and I m having burning n pricking sensation on those lesions in few places not all lesions. Btw, I had taken ayurveda medicine a year for right hand finger stiffness. It improved little but then after that again I had due to which I had to go back to ayurveda doctor and he changed medicine and I took it and on same day I got itching but I took it lightly. continued medicine for 6 days and 7th day I got rashes n diagnosed as urticaria and then I stopped ayurveda medicine n took allopathic medicine since a month but not cured completely and top of that IgE is 600 above. worried a lot n don't know what to do.. Please help me.

Thanks Doctor for your reply. Is IgE 650 IU/ml a dangerous level?. What should I be aware of? Will this never be cured? Even though I had taken for a month steroid and anti histamine why is it still showing high? Are the medication didn't work.. As I am taking Allegra 180 mg Morning and Afternoon Atarax 25mg Night bed time Is this two tablet sufficient enough to reduce IgE level. Can't Urticaria go away without medicine. . Worried more if I ever be cured or if I end up anaphylatic shock ? Should I change the medication or increase the dose? How often should I go and check IgE level like every 10days ?
