Question: Hi Doctor, Can I take buscopan and Gaviscom together. I am major stomach pain after eating last night. I have already taken Buscopan 30’ ago.

Hello, I'm Dr. Branch, thanks for using 'Ask a Doctor'. There are no known interactions between buscopan and gaviscom, so I wouldn't be concerned about taking them together. For your stomach pain, it may also help to use an H2-blocker such as ranitidine, or a proton pump inhibitor such as omeprazole, which you likely can get at your pharmacy as well. If you are having severe pain, or having any signs of bleeding such as vomiting blood or black stools, you should of course go to the ER as soon as possible.
