Hey Doctor, Today At Work While Stacking The Shelves I
Question: Hey doctor,
Today at work while stacking the shelves I was stacking a case of soft drinks cans and I dropped it between two stacked up cases right in the middle but basically it bounced back on the one below it and as I was close to it the very corner of it whacked me forcefully in the area just above my penis the pelvic area I believe. It wasn’t really a massive hit but I feel a bit of an ache a little more when I pee. Do you think this would be anything to worry about, i’m still passing urine and stoolseven after it happened just fine along with walking etc. I’d assume the damage is only superficial right? It only just aches a bit, I just wanted to see what you think as I am flying out to another country tomorrow and have a bit of anxiety in general.

I’m also a very skinny guy so it definitely didn’t go through any fat basically right to the issue when it hit

Press lightly on the area and see if it hurts on the bones below: This is called Pubic area and has pubic symphysis - a non-mobile joint between the two pubic bones. Press on the pelvic bones on both sides simultaneously and see if the pubic area hurts. If it does not hurt on wither of the maneuvers, then possibly there is nothing to worry about.
Watch for any swelling, redness: if not present then still nothing to worry.
Since you say there is no problem while walking, this is a good sign.
Any redness in urine?
