Question: Hello this is for dr Sharka .. I have been having random pain inner right sturnum that comes and goes as well as in my back same side no other symptoms… started today all vitals r normal just did a stress test and echo all normal rare pvc at rest can this be cardiac related or muscle or fybro or costo do u think I need to have more cardiac tests

Thanks for posting your query.
If your stress test and echo are normal then this is not likely to be related to a cardiac cause. The pain near sternum can be related to costochondritis or reflux esophagitis. You need to avoid hot and spicy food and try taking antacids regularly after every meal and see if it improves. For any muscle related cause, rest , hot compress and a mild pain killer or a local analgesic gel should provide relief.
If all these over the counter measures do not help then do consult a physician for a direct examination.
