Hello. Three Weeks Ago I Experienced Blood In My Urine

default
Posted on Sun, 6 Oct 2019
Question: Hello. Three weeks ago I experienced blood in my urine and pain while urinating. The blood was there during the first (pee) only. It got better the next day. One week later it happened again. Same situation as the first. It's been two weeks since and now it's happening again. A little blood in the urine except this time I can feel like I need to urinate but there isn't much urine coming out. It feels like there's a plug that is stopping my flow. (I hope I described that the right way.) I don't understand why it goes away fairly quickly but happens again after a week or two. It's scaring me and I'm experiencing an anxiety attack. Please help. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Small stone impacting at the outlet of urinary bladder

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns and reviewed old interactions with us.
Since the problem of blood in the initial phase of urination is showing intermittent blood, there has to be a specific reason and needs clinical evaluation and investigations under the guidance of an Urologist.
Please get at least baseline investigations.
If you have already consulted a Doctor and got investigated then please post the reports and prescriptions.
You have described your symptoms very properly and the commonest cause I can think about is a small stone getting impacted in the opening of bladder into urethra, although there are other causes which may need further evaluation.

I hope this answers your query and helps you to get a proper diagnosis at the earliest.

With Regards.
Dr T Chandrakant.
