Brief Answer:
We need to know if muscle involved

Detailed Answer:
Ho
Thanks for your query.

He has a high grade bladder tumor. The biopsy doesn't contain muscle tissue, hence we don't know if muscle involved or not. If muscle involved, then it changes the treatment. This is especially important as the CT showed perivesical stranding, implying possibility of disease spread outside bladder wall.

Hence I recommend a check cystoscopy to see current position and also to take deeper biopsy from operative site to see if any residual tumor is there and if so, does it involve the muscle or not.

After this, we can decide if anything else required or not. If nothing found in cystoscopy then life expectancy is like normal even though regular checkup is required to detect any recurrence which is possible in 20% cases.

Hope this helps.
Regards
