Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

What he is experiencing may be related to:
- Angiography and stenting procedure. If this is the case everything will be back in a few weeks.
- Leg arteries blockage. Diabetes is the principal cause of artery blockage including heart, leg and cerebral arteries.
- Leg neuropathy which is also a complication of diabetes.

In case that his symptoms doesn't go away within a couple of weeks, then if he was my patient I would recommend the following examinations to find out what is causing his symptoms:
- doppler ultrasound of both legs
- Electroneurography (nerve conduction study) end elctromyography of legs.
- Angio CT scan of the legs.

Meantime, I would recommend to do as follows :
- Apply warm bags over your leg
- Use Advil to relieve the pain.
- Clopidogrel and aspirin which are used after the stent procedure play a protective role for your legs to.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

My opinion is that he should be referred to his cardiologist ( who perform angiography and stenting). His cardiologist will evaluate him and determine if his symptoms are a complication of procedure or other examinations are needed. In this case he will refer to other doctors.

Brief Answer:
Following answer to your query.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

After reviewing his medical data I would like to say that the treatment he is taking the recommended medications.
The first thing he need medication to keep the stent open (to avoid stent re-closure). This is why he should take Ticagleor and Aspirin (dual antiplatelet therapy) for 12 months and continue with Aspirin for the rest of his life.

Glucose and lipid (cholesterol and triglycerides) blood levels should be under control. To achieve this diet and treatment with Amaryl and Lipitor are essential.

Moreover, blood pressure should be stabilised below 130/85 mmHg (ideal around 120/80 mmHg). This is why he is taking Amlor, Losartan and Indapamide.

After reviewingyour medications I can say that only Ticagleor use may explain some of his symptoms. However, all the above mentioned examinations are needed to find out what is causing his symptoms.

Wish you and your family health!
