I have attached pictures. I had Molluscum 2 months ago on my upper arm which my doctor treated with nitrogen but I don't remember touching my son on his behind and I was very careful. My wife usually changes his diaper. I'm not sure if they are molluscum or it could be allergy or rash or eczema?

Brief Answer:
It is molluscum contagiosum - please approach your pediatric dermatologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi... I have just seen the images. This is molluscum contagiosum only. I suggest your available pediatric dermatologist regarding this.

Please do not apply the cream you suggested as this is a prescription drug and it requires a doctor's prescription for this.

We will be seeing our doctor in 3 days. In the meantime we are putting manuka honey on the bumps as I have heard this may help. What do you recommend as treatment for a child?

Brief Answer:
I recommend Podophyllotoxin

Detailed Answer:
Hi.... I recommend, topically applied Podophyllotoxin 0.5% cream, applied twice a day for 3 weeks.

This is what I do for my patients with molluscum contagiosum.
