Question: Hello, I’ve been lethargic, today I’ve been very sensitive to heat, for a pedicure and it felt like my feet were on fire but the water was only like warm. I ate lunch and felt like I was burning my mouth on the food that wasn’t even that hot. Also my hands pruned you in the shower after about 5 mins which is abnormal. I’m not sure if something is wrong with me but this is all very abnormal.

Brief Answer:
Hyperthyroidism may be a cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
You are being sensitive to heat or having heat intolerance. The main cause of it can be hyperthyroidism or if you are taking levothyroxine for thyroid issues you are probably taking too much.
If you are taking any medications such amphetamine (to reduce appetite) any decongestants , allergy medications or blood pressure medications, caffeine, they may be causing you this heat sensitivity.
Measure your body temperature first.
You can stay hydrated, stay in cool environment, wear light cotton clothes.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
