Hello I'm A 35 Year Old Male Who Has Been

Question: Hello I'm a 35 year old male who has been experiencing splinter hemmorhages in my fingernails and toenails for about 4 months now. I saw my primary care doctor about 2.5 months ago who did a full blood panel, as well a blood cultures to test for endocarditis. my physical exam as well as blood work and cultures all came back perfectly normal. no heart murmers, no other symptoms, no signs of lupus, diabetes or scleroderma. these grow out in my nail and then come back. I always have a few on my hands and just noticed one on my big toe. I work with my hands a good amount but I always have and never had these lesions before. I don't drink or smoke but for the last 6 months I have been drinking about 2 sugar free monster energy drinks a day. can these be caused by anything else? My most important question is, can these hemmorhages just be normal for some people to develop as they age, or are the always a sign of underlying conditions? I highly doubt I've had endocarditis that won't show on ESR, a physical exam, showing no other symptoms for 4 months.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

As I see through the query you already ruled out most of the causes.
The hemorrhage can be caused mostly by a microtrauma of the fingers.
In some people it can also be a normal sign of aging.
Kindly one information is needed .
Have you recently got injured of the affected area?
Do you take any other medications such as blood thinners?
I will be waiting for your response to help you better.
