Question: Hello, I%E2%80%99ll just say my problem right a way.

I haven%E2%80%99t had my period over 3 months or more now, last time i think it was before june!
maybe the end of May was my last.
sometimes I do feel and get the symptoms of it and be sure it will be there tomorrow or couple of days from now and then? there%E2%80%99s nothing for weeks..

what could be the reasons? and I%E2%80%99m 22 years old not married. maybe this info helps? I dont know just saying...

yeah, and just one more thing, is it a serious problem and I probably should go to the hospital and check myself up? or It%E2%80%99s normal and I don%E2%80%99t need to go unless i%E2%80%99m worried and I just want to make sure am fine.

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
We need to come to a diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my answer.

In my opinion you can go for further testing like ultrasound and hormone levels e.g prolactin and HCG levels. This will help rule out any structural problems and hormonal problems as well.

The reasons could be many - mainly structural and hormonal. The severity depends on problem.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
