Question: Hello, I have been sick with bronchitis for the past week and the doctor ordered me some Antibiotics, Solupred and nebulised treatment, after taking all these medications I am feeling weak, disorientated and headaches. I also suffer from Anxiety disorder and take Cipralex as prescribed by my mental health doctor. Also I made some blood test and a chest xray and everything seemed fine. Does this habe to do with my Anxiety that I am feeling weak, disorientated and headaches? Or Am I still recovering from my bronchitis?

Brief Answer:
Get done ABG analysis.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on 'Ask A Doctor' forum.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the history you have given.

In my opinion, we should definitely rule out hypercapnia (high carbon dioxide) because raised carbon dioxide can cause similar symptoms and seen in bronchitis.

So, I'd suggest getting done ABG (arterial blood gas) analysis to rule out hypercapnia.
If this is normal then no need to worry much.

Then this might be due to anxiety.

Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.

Wish you good health.
Thanks
