Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand the concerns about your mother's health,

After going through the medical details and the reports, I would like to inform you that her echocardiogram reports seem to be normal.

However, taking into consideration her age group I would like to know few more things:

1. Is she diabetic or any other medical illness?
2. What’s the location of the pain like the centre of the chest or elsewhere and is the pain diffuse or localized a particular point?
3. Any other symptoms during pain like breathing discomfort or sweating or radiation of pain to shoulders or jaw?

Kindly revert back with the required information.

Regards

Hi Doctor,

Thanks for the prompt response.

As i mentioned in the medication she is currently taking, she has high blood pressure and take Olmetime-20 to keep it in control.
Location of pain is centre of chest, and it doesn't radiate to any other body part.
Although there is breathing discomfort some times when she has this pain.

Also, could you also check the 2D-Echo report. Attached 8.jpg and 9.jpg.

Thanks!

Brief Answer:
Hello again

Detailed Answer:
As I said before I have reviewed the echo report and it’s normal. Kindly discuss with your treating doctor about getting a stress echocardiogram done to rule out underlying coronary artery disease.

Kind Regards

Hello Doctor,

Thanks for the prompt response again.
I believe you refer to TMT as stress echocardiogram. Please help me understand why a stress ECG is needed if the echo report is normal.

Brief Answer:
Hello again

Detailed Answer:
Stress echocardiogram includes echocardiogram after doing exercise on TMT. It shows the working capacity of heart on exercise. On the other hand normal echo shows the working capacity of heart at rest.

Kind Regards
