Brief Answer:
Dermatitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, thanks for writing to ask a doctor.I am Dr XXXXXXX , dermatologist and I can understand your concern.

As seen in images ,the lesion over both legs probably looks like dermatitis.

It can occur due to allergy to soap, dry skin, tight clothing etc.

A more detailed history is required like it's duration, any change in soap ,any history of skin disorder in family. All these points will help in better' diagnosis of condtion and guide u in much better way.

I request you to follow up with me the details and we can continue this discussion.

Thanks.

Hello Doctor,

Thank you very much for your response.

The duration of this rash on the right leg has been for around 1.5 months and left leg for a week now.

The itching becomes more when my dad wears socks.

Also, there has no family history regarding any type of skin disorder.

Thank you,
Shravani.

Brief Answer:
Probale diagnosis is eczema.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, thanks for responding back with details.

Probable diagnosis of this condition is eczema.

It is related to dryness of skin as age advances.

Harsh soaps, hot water baths, woolen clothes, herbal medicne application etc can aggrevate the condition. The condition is common in pateints having raised blood sugar levels .

Management part consist of avoiding triggering factors as mentioned above.

An emollient application after bathing will be helpful in prevnting dryness.
A topical steroid cream containing clobetasol and anti allergic tablets such as levocetrizine at night will be helpful .You need to apply for a short period only .

I hope this will help you.Free feel to ask in case of any concern.

Thanks.
