Question: Hello 49 ur old women here have been having pain and issues with upper stomach for a few months on and off . Sometimes right after I eat and other times maybe 2 hrs after I eat I do not eat fatty foods or fried foods the pain came be sometime sharp sometimes dull and sometimes.. achy

Basically the area which you have pointed is called epigastrium and two main causes of pain in this area are,
1)Pain can be due to gall bladder stone.
2)Pain can be due to stomach ulcers or acid peptic problem.
I would strongly recommend you to go for a non invasive test called endoscopy where with the help of camera they could look inside you gut.
As pain is associated with intake of food it could be a gastric or duodenal ulcer.
