Having Dry And Itchy Spots On Feet And Ankle Area. Help?
Question: PROBLEM :
- dark brown spots on feet near ankle area.
- Spots are dry and Cause itching
- While sleeping, there is stiffness and severe pain in feet, causing severe stiffness. The pain is unbearable.
- This stiffness and severe pain mandatorily comes, if she walks little more or gets tired.
- Tests as per 20-1-2013:
- Uric acid 7.8
- Triglycerides 2.5
- Serum protein 8.8
- Serum globulins 4.4
- TSH 0.72
- Rest examinations were normal.

Your mother has two complaints
Itchy lesions around ankle
pain in joints.
Now these two conditions can be interlinked or simply coexisting. It could be any type of arthritis like rheumatoid arthritis with eczema or stasis eczema or gout.
Gout is a type of arthritis which can lead to foot pain along with itching.
would be able to help you more if you could send me an image of concerned area and an image showing your mother's leg from knee downwards.
Also I would like to know if your mother has swollen vessels in her legs ( varicosities)
