Question: Have had vestibular Neuritus and Labrynthitus for 3 months. Still play tennis and helps with dizziness not spinning but the other kind is Oscillio? Tennitus hi to low very few headaches now. My question is body or internal vibrating or tremors. Head neck body. Very slight. Tennis or running brings it on when I’m done feel it when I’m resting. Or when I sleep when I wake up I feel it. Or just dozing off. Not always but half of the time. Is this normal for VN or Labrynthitus? MRI and Cat scan came back good except for moderate sphenoid sinusitus When I look at my hands I don’t see shaking but if I gently bite my finger I can feel slight shake or vibration. Thanks. No loud noises at work. Just paper shuffling. Taking herbal stuff for anxiety. Lemon balm.

Detailed Answer:
Hii. Welcome to the healthcare services. You need to consult an Ent surgeon fir treatment of giddiness. If MRI brain is normal and other blood tests are normal and and doctor is suspecting vestibular neuronitis or labyrinthitis then you should antiviral like acyclovir. Most of the labyrinthitis is viral in origin and needs antiviral treatment. You may also need to take diphenhydramine or meclizine or vertin tablet to decrease the giddiness and nausea. You can also take Tablet Emeset if you are feeling nauseating at certain times. At home you should take proper rest and sleep. Avoid jerky movements of head. Avoid smoking and alcohol. If the giddiness is too much annoying and is hampering your day to day activities then you mag need to take low dose sedative only after prescribed by a registered medical practitioner. You have to practice vestibular rehabilitation exercise at home for proper improvement. Please review if you have any queries.
