Question: HIV exposure concerns, need expert doctor help.
Varies doctor opinion on my exposure, going crazy. All I had was a handjob, been more than 60days.
Can%E2%80%99t bring myself to test, too afraid.
I have few symptoms similar to HIV virus
1. Rashes, pimple like on my back and neck
2. Abdominal pain and nausea
3. Weight loss
4. Sleep deprivation
5. Night sweats.

I have no sexual contact before and after the massage. Probably I will be the first in the world to get AIDS without sex.

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are not related to HIV infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
HIV can be transmitted through nonsexual route like blood transfusion of infected blood and also through sharing sharp objects like syringes and razor blades. Tattoo transmission also reported. Transmission through Occupational exposures among healthcare personnel are not uncommon. But hand job (masturbation) is safe and has no risk for HIV transmission.
All symptoms of yours are not necessarily be due to HIV infection. Anybody else also can get such symptoms. Forget about HIV and consult your physician nearby and a psychiatrist and rule out HIV.
Your fear for HIV test is baseless. It will rule out HIV and thereby you regain your confidence!

Hi Dr. Thank you for the answer
Based on your answer, I believe most of your patient is HIV positive due this penetrative sex and injection issues, none of them due to handjob?

Brief Answer:
No case had been reported about HIV transmission through hand job

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
True. 95% of my HIV positive patients got infection through genito-genital, Genito-anal contacts..Very few cases through blood transfusion, oral sex, mother to child transmission and one case through Tatoos. No case of HIV infection from hand job either self or with partner was present either with me or with my colleagues or in any literature or publications.
So forget about this incident and carry on your routine.
