Brief Answer:
can swim provided fit from general health recovery aspects.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my clinical experience, PICC line is best access for variety of
indications in hospital settings for infusion of fluid and other medications.

* As part of care post removal of PICC line, once healing has taken place
with no redness or pain, tenderness, you can start swimming provided you
are fit to do so on basis of general health and recovery from current
medical illness criteria.

* In a nutshell, if everything is perfectly fine and no other intravenous
injections are needed, after removal of bandage, you may resume your
swimming activity.

Wish you best recovery.
Regards.
