Hello dear,welcome to HCM forum.

There are some normal structures in the scrotal sac, that we may feel like a swelling. We have to distinguish these structures from abnormal swellings.

Kindly give few more details,so that I can guide you better.
1)When did you notice this?
2)Is it painful or painful to touch?
3)Have you checked the opposite side also?Could you feel such a swelling on the opposite side?

Brief Answer:
Varicocele to be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

Small painless lump in the scrotal sac, above testes is usually caused by a varicocele, which is formed by dilated and tortuous venous channels. This is more common on the left side.
Another possibilities are a small epididymal cyst or a spermatocele.

Correct diagnosis can be made by a local examination, with addition of an ultrasound if needed. All these conditions are benign, and can be treated by minor surgical procedure under local anesthesia.

A general surgeon or urosurgeon can guide you further.

Hope I have answered your query.

So nothing to worry about. Does not have to be treated then.

nothing to worry

Hi dear,
Though these are all benign conditions, and no surgery is necessary if asymptotic,to be on the safer side, it will be fine if you could confirm the benign nature by consulting a trained surgeon.
