For Two Days I Have Had Intense Need To Urinate
Question: For two days I have had intense need to urinate and notice blood spot from my urethra. There is little discomfort in my urethra and NO blood in my urine. I am 75 and very healthy. No diseases. 5’2, 114 lb female.
This is NOT a (normal) UTI: Urinary Tract Infection, I’ve had UTI before when i was young.
1. My urethra does not have pain when i pass urine.
2. There is no blood in my urine, it is normal.
3, The spot of blood is from my urethra on the tissue i wiped with. The small spot of blood has appeared only twice in 2 days since the symptoms began.

Thanks for query . Based on the facts that you have posted urgency to pass urine with a spot of blood in urine is most likely to be due to UTI.
Get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like
Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Ensure vto drink more water.to keep your urine dilute.
