Brief Answer:
diverticulosis and duodenitis and weight loss

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The mostcommon cause of duodenitis is a bacteria called Heliobacter. It invades the inside lining of the small intestine causing inflammation and might also cause bleeding.
Treatment consists of a combination of antibiotics to kill bacteria, acid reducers. Stop smoking, alcohol, and narcotic painkillers which irritate intestinal lining.
For diverticulosis add to diet Metamucil dates and figs, walnuts, and whole grain products.
You continue to suffer. I urge you to find another
gastroenterologist who will continue to evaluate you until a diagnosis is reached and treatment improves your health. Please look for one of these subspecialists at the University Medical School nearest to where you live.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.
Thanks.
