Question: Hello, I'm male, 32 yrs old. Experiencing dull pain in left testicle that sometimes radiates to left lower abdomen. When taking hot bath i felt for lumps and found none. But left testicle is tender to touch...towards the back portion and kind of center of scrotum.

Did not have any injury. No external symptoms (redness, swelling, etc). Walking is fine. Dull pain occurs while sitting in office chair or bike. Lying down alleviates the pain a bit. No problem in sleeping.

No fever or other general complaints.

Hi

Thanks for your query to XXXXXXX Your description is excellent and easily understandable.
Features are suggestive of infection of the testicles and coiled tubes round it.
U need physical examination, urine analysis, urine culture, ultrasound scrotum with Doppler study to confirm diagnosis and rule out other issues.
Antibiotic course for 2 to 3 weeks will settle the issue.
Till u XXXXXXX the doctor, take anti- inflammatory agents like brufen after food and use ice compresses over the area thrice daily for one week.
Hope this helps, kindly get back for doubts if any,
