Question: Ever since last July 17th I've been feeling fatigue. When I go in malls I feel everything get quiet and I feel nauseous. When I walk at school, home, or any other setting I lose sense of how fast I am walking (I feel like I'm walking slow or walking fast when I'm walking at a normal pace), but I don't get nausea like I do when I walk in malls. The symptoms are worse while I am digesting food. It's been more tolerable since July 14th, but I still have the symptoms of feeling like i can walk easy or feeling like its hard to walk when I can walk at a normal pace just fine.

Brief Answer:
Stomach problems and anemia to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

Nausea and digestion problems may be linked to stomach problems such as gastritis, ulcer, etc.

Stomach problems, in the other hand, may lead to anemia that may justify your other symptoms.
So, in my opinion, you should get evaluated by a Gastroenterologyst and by tests such as fibrogastroscopy and blood tests for anemia, folates, vitamin B12 levels, iron, etc.

Discuss with your Doctor for these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thank you for your answer.

May I ask something else? I also have tingling on the left side of my stomach does not go away with Prillosec or Pepto Bismol. It comes on occasionally and it sometimes hurts too. I've had the symptom for 2 months.

The tingling is worsened with bike riding, if that helps.

Either way, I will take your advice into account and see a Gas doctor for the nausea.

Answered below.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

These symptoms also indicate that there may be a problem with your stomach.

In addition to the previously mentioned conditions, hiatal herniation is another possibility.

So, it is actually necessary to see a Gastroentrologyst.

Hope this helps.

Take care.

With 2 answers pointing to Gastro, it's unavoidable at this point for me to see one.

Just to make sure, is there any possibility my fatigue or nausea could be caused by something else?
Ive had palpitations for 4 years and my legs feel exhausted after a short 1/2 mile walk and my arms feel tired after writing for a short amount of time.

Brief Answer:
In rare cases, heart condition may cause such symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

The symptoms and the location of them, in some cases may indicate heart conditions, but, at your age, this is a rare possibility.

So, first is necessary an evaluation by a Gastrologyst in order to understand correctly your condition.

Hope I helped you.

Greetings.
