Brief Answer:
Epicleritis is usually a mild condition

Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for the question dear .

Episcleritis is a mild condition and it should go away in maximum two weeks . In some patients prednisolone eye drops can cause an increase in intraocular pressure so you should get that checked and if it is high your doctor may change your medicine . Usually first episode of episcleritis doesnt require any blood investigations dear but if it reccurs you should get yourself investigated for Rheumatoid disorders and also in case of an endemic country tuberculosis .

Hope my answer helps you.

Regards .
