Brief Answer:
No worries

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. An incident year ago that too followed by washing before use is really unlikely to be the cause of any problem. Had there been even ingestion of maggot, maximum would have been gastroenteritis but that too in a few days not a year from that incident.

Nutshell, your baby is safe and there is nothing to worry about the incident an year old any more. Just be cautious in future. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and your baby and don't forget to close the discussion please.

Thank you for getting back to me

As i mentioned no worries. An incident of year old with no evidence of fly eggs even, i don't see anything to worry about. Gastroenteritis takes a day to show up , so one year is totally out of the picture. Just relax and take some anxiolytics. Nothing is wrong .

I hope it helps.

Brief Answer:
No harm in getting stool exam

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getitng back to me

There is no harm in getting a stool examination. Worm infestation is common in children any how. But it wont be attributed to that incident you mention a year ago. No harm to have a stool exam. Your paediatrician can decide whether to give one time deworm dosage to the child or not.

I hope it helps.
