Question: I am constipated. I have back pain. I took milk of magnesia last night to no avail. I recently saw a convient care doctor for the back pain and he prescribed prednisone 50 mg/5 day regimine. I took a predisone tab last night. Not muich relief in back pain because I am still constipated. Can i take magnesium sulfate to get my bowels working?
