Question: Acne keeps showing up on facial skin leaving behind scars and blemishes, doctors recommend skin resurfacing by laser treatment, does that have any side effects. What could be a best way to get rid of that

I am Dr kakkar (Dermatologist and Venereologist). I have noted your concern.
For acne scars, laser resurfacing is a good option. You may require multiple sittings depending on the problem. Redness/ erythema and postinflammatory hyperpigmentation are some of the side effects of laser but are easily manageable. There is no single best way to treat acne scars. For good improvement other treatment options are often used in addition to laser resurfacing like dermaroller, chemical peeling, dermabrasion, subcission etc.
