Is it safe to take Premount N twice daily?

Brief Answer:
this is progesterone deficiency in second half of cycle.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
If the uterine lining is thickened and bleeding is heavy it indicates progesterone deficiency and hence you are placed on progesterone support which shall support the endometrium and make it secretory and hence control the bleeding. Primolut n is a progesterone and should be continued for 10 days and then stopped. Then you should wait for your menses and if the menses are heavy again then pause mf can be taken for 3 days to control the bleeding , then again cyclical progesterone in form of primolut-n can be taken agin from day 16-25 of your cycle for next 3 months at least to make up for the progesterone deficiency.

Hi Doctor,
thanks for diagnosis. yes, she too recomemded the same 3 months course.
However, I am worried about side effects
I read online, few side effects and I am getting acne after consuming premount n for 3-4 days.
so is it ok to continue with the course of 3months or do you suggest something else?
is this medicine suppose to be taken for long?
will it affect me on stopping this dose?
will it affect my fertility or affect me in any other way?
do you suggest me any precausions?
is there any other way to tackle progesterone deficiency ? may be some home remedy?
my Doc asked me to workout and eat health
do you suggest anything in specific?
I mean any vegetable in specific?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Progesterone has side effects of mainly bloating and decreased gastric motility, headache and often breast soreness. But these can be controlled with increase water intake.
You have to be on cyclical progesterones from day 16-25 for 10 days only each month. Progesterone deficiency have to be supplemented with exogenous progesterones only.
Natural remedies and non scientific and weight loss too is not going to help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I feel you should switch to TAB MEPRATE 10mg twice a day instead or primolut-n. Presently just complete the 10 days course and from next cycle you may change the drug. The most important way to counter progesterone effects is to increase your water intake.
