Question: Hi
I have been suffering for acid reflux from past 5 months and had been under treatment and I am hypothyroid taking 75 mg.
I have been taking nexpro rd 40 for 3 weeks

I have gone very carefully through the details provided as well as the prescriptions attached. The medicines seem proper. However, the problem that you are facing, is basically a lifestyle problem. In addition to the mentioned medicines you might be benefitted by taking Tab. Prodep 20 mg once daily for next one and a half months at least. Additionally it is very important to take a fibre rich diet and to back it up with regular exercise.

1) I am a query that still how many days that I need to take nexpro rd/Nexpro L.
2) If yes Nexpro L/Nexpro RD 40 which one of the tablet works better and how many days I need to take. Because I have stopped taking the medicine
3) Prodep 20mg at what time it should be taken
4) The main question is I want to become better and healthier again.

1. Usually Nexpro L/RD is given for one and a half months. But you can take it for longer durations if required.
2. Instead of these two, I would prefer plain Nexpro 40. However, if you are doing well after stopping the medicine, you can take it off and on as required.
3. Prodep 20 is usually taken after breakfast.
4. As I mentioned, a healthy lifestyle is needed. You need to exercise regularly. Take small but frequent meals. Avoid junk food. Take plenty of fruits and vegetables (and other sources of dietary fibres). Try to avoid stress. Yoga and meditation should help.

Good Morning Sir,
Thank you very much for the suggestions and I have started following your suggestions.
I have been suffering from anxiety and dipression from last 1 year and I developed sleepless nights due family and office issues.
Thank you for the medications.
Using of Nexpro.., Tablets or Capsule for long time doesn't develop side effects sir because I usually have acidity problem in every month due to useless thoughts which automatically develops.
And also for ProDep 20 are there any side effects sir.

But still I was find a good doctor myself I felt I found.

Only aim for me is to support family

Prodep is a medicine that should help you both in controlling the acidity/reflux as well as the anxiety/depression. Try to inculcate the suggested lifestyle changes. I am sure that you would see the benefits.

Hi Sir,
I have started talking prodep 20mg daily with 75mg thryronorm. I have started staying calm.
But I when am talking my break fast or my dinner. I feel like the food is reflexing back to the throat. Now my intake of food has gradually reduced by this.

Please help me in this regard in order the situation is fully cured.

I have started seeing the results of Prodep, Its helping me well. But I don't know am I asking unnecessary questions but, these days as the Summer is on the top. I am not able to sustain the heat and humidity. I have become so weak. But still I am trying my best to recover.
As a patient I have to explain that from yesterday a pinch of Upper middle back pain has started, may be its muscle pain .
Sir please help me in this regard.
