Does Intake Of Meftal-P Help In Curing High Fever?

Question: My son is 4 years old, he is having 102 fever, I've given 5 hrs ago meftal-p, agin few mins ago I'veobserved it's 102.1, shall I give meftal-p now??

Usually Meftal P is given at intervals of 6-8 hours. However, since 5 hours have already elapsed and since the temperature is high, it is ok to give Meftal P once again. The dose should be 6.5 mg/kg/dose.

Also give tepid sponging.
