Question: My Wife is suffering Depression and Anxiety SAD & OCD Her Medication is Clonidine.025mg and Trintellix .025mg is the right medication for as we see no improvement

Although the prescribed medication is good for depression but there is no evidence of its effectiveness in ocd. The most effective treatment for ocd includes ssri group of medications which includes fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine and escitalpram. These medicines are also effective in depresion, anxiety and SAD. I think you need to discuss these alternative medicine for your wife with treating doctor. It sldo need tp be emphasized thst antidepressants tske at least teo to four weeks to have significant effect. If time lapsed after starting treatment os less than that it is advisable to wait for few more days.
