Question: Tonite my 93 yo father, with mild cognitive dementia, and myself, had soft shell crab sandwiches. Of course my Hoosier husband could not be in the same room. We now live in Indiana, and found a great fish store. we are from NJ, with many years in past of enjoying shellfish.
Within 5 minutes or so, both my dad and I felt great and almost elated, laughing and and clear headed.
we have had this experience with other fresh shellfish we have labored to find in the Midwest.
Question-is this just a taste memory link to our past good times, or can the selenium, or zinc, or whatever else, actually boost ones mood in so short a time? Thanx
