Brief Answer:
No significant interaction present

Detailed Answer:
Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!

Saw Palmetto is a widely tolerated herbal supplement with little effect on other drugs. It has no proven significant drug interaction with the multivitamin you are taking. In fact majority of patients taking saw palmetto are also taking multivitamins such as yourself.

Thank you for replying doctor. I got one more thing. My doctor described saw palmetto for one month only for the very active bladder, but I heared that saw palmetto is good for the hair as well , since it inhibits DHT , so can i use saw palmetto for long term time after the one month? Or there might be side effects for using saw palmetto for other conditions than prostate enlargement? Thank you

Brief Answer:
No known side effect for saw palmetto.

Detailed Answer:
Saw palmetto may have a very weak effect on DHT and may not be very effective for hair loss or alopecia. I usually give finasteride 2.5 mg once a day to my patients to increase hair.

Saw Palmetto is well tolerated and has very few to no side effects. You may continue to drink saw palmetto if it works for your bladder instability.
