Does Consumption Of Turmeric And Ginger Help In Curing LPR?

Posted on Thu, 9 Jun 2016
Question: Hello,

I have been diagnosed with a high level of pepsin entering my throat. (LPR) I have basically had a sore throat that feels like an infection for 10 months. I am on 30 mg. of Dexilant now and gaviscon advance 4 times a day. Someone suggested tumeric and ginger tormented to help with inflammation, and also oil of oregano pills to fight this virus or bacteria caused by LPR. Are these safe to take with LPR? Should I also be taking a probiotic? Or is there another way to permanently get rid of this sore throat? Thank you

Hello mr XXXXXXX
thanks for providing valuable information.

Based on your findings, I am suggesting some medicines and suggest you to start as prescribed.
You may start with:-
-Calcarea carb 30 6 pills twice in a day
-Carbo veg 6 pills twice ina day
-Nux vom 6 4 drops on the tongue
-Sulphuric acid 30 6 pills twice in a day

Take above medicines for a month and update

Then I would suggest you the next line of treatment

Avoid being on an empty stomach and take plenty of water
Role of medicine: medicine will act on the digestive system and control the excessive production of digestive juice i.e. pepsin
