Don't worry your symptoms are atypical for heart attacks...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX!

I read your query and would like to say you shouldn't worry too much because your symptoms are atypical for heart attacks.

However if you were my patients in order to reassure and put your mind on ease I would recommend the following examinations:
- ECG
- Cardiac ECHO
- Holter monitoring
- Stress test

Brief Answer:
Normal blood test with a normal ECG, exclude heart attack...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

The diagnosis of heart attack is based on three criteria:
1. Symptoms especially typical chest pain and dyspnea.
2. ECG abnormalities.
3. Laboratory analysis (blood test) showing a clear evidence of increased cardiac enzymes.

This is why a normal blood test with a normal ECG, exclude the possibility of a heart attacks.

Wish you health

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms aren't typical for heart disease but anxiety...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

As i mentioned earlier your symptoms aren't typical for heart disease. They are more like related to anxiety disorders.

However if you are feeling in serious trouble i recommend to go to ER and have an ECG done. If the ECG is ok than don't worry and do the above examinations (echo, Holter and stress test).

Wish you health!

Some examinations (ECG) should be done before a definite diagnosis...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Your symptoms as you described are typical for anxiety, however some test and examinations should be done before reaching a definite diagnosis.

This is why I recommended the mentioned examinations (especially ECG) in order to exclude any minor (non life threatening problem) health problems. More over the diagnosis of anxiety and stress disorders is based on your symptoms on otherwise normal patient.
