Brief Answer:
you can with caution...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

there are various formulations of solpadeine. All of them contain paracetamol which poses no problem to alcohol consumption (at least to normal-moderate consumption). Heavy consumption may put a great load on your liver and even risk toxic effects.

Some of the formulations contain codeine which is a central nervous system suppressant. Alcohol may have additive effects on central nervous system suppression with codeine so caution is recommended. You should avoid activities that require good balance or coordination (like driving for example). A drink won't do serious harm normally but the effects may be different for different individuals (and different types of drinks! ).

Since some formulations also contain ibuprofen, please be warned that ibuprofen may cause problems to the stomach and duodenum like ulcers. Alcohol may predispose to ulcer formation too, so using both is not great for your gastrointestinal system.

I hope you find my comments helpful!
Kind Regards!
