Brief Answer:
Please follow her cardiologist's advice...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am sorry for the situation your wife is going through and I understand your worries too.

Now, before deciding for something, I usually try to explain to my patients their current health situation, the possible treatment strategies and what is the best to suit to each particular case.

In case of your wife:
- she is due to have 6 bypasses. This makes me think that coronarography is showing severe blockages in her heart blood vessels.
She suffered a minor stroke in left lob just 3 weeks ago and already had carotid endartereectomy.

In other words, her current health situation (especially her cardio-vascular) is very very delicate.

- her doctors decided for 6 bypass as the next-treatment strategy. While you are now asking to go for RAVE DIET instead of surgery.

The next thing you should know is regarding the principles of a RAVE DIET. it consists of using plant-based and whole foods. In other words, she must follow a healthy diet that will help with her current health problems. And RAVE DIET is an excellent choice.

But, although excellent, its effects cannot be compared to bypass benefits.

- So, it is better to follow her cardiologist advice regarding bypass; while she can also follow the healthy RAVE diet.

Good luck!

Thanks for your quick reply. Second, would the diet also help her light stage of rheumatoid arthritis. I forgot to mention her cholesterol was always normal. Seems to be genetics, but don't know family history. Would the rave be effective after surgery?

Brief Answer:
RAVE diet would be helpful even in case of rheumatoid arthritis...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Sorry for the late reply due to my XXXXXXX clinic work.

As mentioned earlier, the RAVE DIET consists of naturally healthy foods. So, it would be effective even after surgery.
This diet will keep her healthy. With regards to early stage of rheumatoid arthritis, with the help of this diet, hopefully, the arthritis attack will be reduced in frequency and intensity.

However, I repeat again, this diet should not be considered as the only alternative as an accurate evaluation of her current health problems should be considered.

Hope it answered to your queries!
All the best and God bless!
