mostly Berberine, 1 g, i s safe for me - I have been on the Berberine/ Vit C, and Alpha Lipoic Acid supplement
given to me by my physician about one month ago. I have been on Prolia for 2 years, due soon for another one with XXXXXXX Paczos - (Cleve Clin.) I am 77 years old, "clean eater," and take Cymbalta, and sometimes a40-mNexium -- now have more muscle aches, and am constipated. Opinion please......I will be in touch with my
doctor next week,.......thanks for any comments - today's medicines are hopeful, yet scary. XXXXXXX XXXX

Brief Answer:
Prolia is safe to use.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for asking from HCM for your health related doubts

I can understand your concern. Berberine is a natural compound and is used commonly in chinese medicines. The supplement is extracted from plants and is natural. 1g dose of it is safe to use and will be safe for you. No need to worry.

Prolia is Denosumab and is a monoclonal antibody. This is not a natural medicine. The drug is safe to use provided your blood calcium levels are normal. So no need to worry.

Rest medicines you are taking are Vitamin C and Lipoic acid and are too safe to use.

Thanks,

I have never taken laxatives before the last 2 years, but now take to prevent
diverticulitis, my question is now, if I decide to continue the berberine supplement
(plus vit C and Alpha Lipoic Acid), how should I solve the constipation or know
when to stop taking something to combat it....as I said, I now take Metamucil every
evening, which has helped my life...I have a nice mix of exercise, and supplements
to support my healthy status and would like to understand how to keep life this
simple....should I contine Metamucil up to 3 doses as jar says? And then try to
go back down if another indication shows up? I am in such a good place that I
don't want to cause myself another problem. You can read my XXXXXXX Clinic
Chart with number ooo0000. Thank you very much

Brief Answer:
Metamucil will take care of constipation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

Metamucil will help to ease constipation. This is a bulk forming substance and will loosen the stools. So this will take care of constipation. So please continue Metamucil as per dosing schedule that is 3 doses. Once constipation improves you can discontinue it for some time.

So you can continue to take Berberine, Vitamin Ca and Lipoic acid without any worries. Metamucil will take care of constipation.

Thanks.

Still have doubts please ask again.
